Mysuru, 30 May 2024: Carlsberg India, a leading global brewer, having one of its brewery in Mysuru has been honored with the prestigious Silver Award for Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Excellence by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). This esteemed recognition underscores Carlsberg India's unwavering commitment to EHS excellence and its dedication to fostering a culture of safety and sustainability.

The CII EHS Excellence Awards, now in its 16th edition, celebrates the best practices in EHS management across various industries. Carlsberg India's Mysuru brewery stood out amongst over 5000 applications from diverse sectors, showcasing exemplary commitment and performance in EHS standards and practices. The selection process involves rigorous onsite assessments by certified auditors from CII and evaluation by an independent panel of judges.

Speaking on this achievement, Sanjeev Gupta, Vice-President, Integrated Supply Chain, expressed his gratitude, stating, "We commend our colleagues at the Mysuru brewery for their relentless efforts in pursuing excellence in EHS and congratulate them for this recognition. This award is a testament to our commitment and continuous effort to drive our  group initiative on Together Towards Zero & Beyond (TTZAB) for creating a sustainable future for our people and planet."
